I could use some help, since my van doesn`t have it`s sticker.
What`s the recommended pressure for a 1990 5.2L B250 conversion?
Thanx,

I generally run 35psi in all of my tires. Don't go by what is molded on the tire sidewall...that is the maximum tire pressure and not recommended for everyday driving.

Yeah, my tires have a max. pressure of 44 psi, I didn`t think that was right.
35 sounds good.

My tires have a max of 35 on the tires and on the van's sticker. I am running at 35 in all 4 tires and the ride is very bumpy. I am thinking about lowering the pressure by a couple of pounds. My next set of tires will be light truck or cargo. A lot of people have higher pressure in the rear wheels. Does anyone have an opinion about this?

thks.

I have seen the sticker say higher pressures in the rear.

BTW, Welcome to Dodgetalk!

Mine says 51psi for both front and rear on my 2001 B2500. These are LT tires. It also says while towing inflate to 80psi! I've check the tire psi requirements on the RV forums too, and many people run as high as 65psi for towing with this psi for our vans.

Setting the psi around 35 seems too low. The mileage could suffer some.

On our B1500, it uses a HD XL passenger tire. It mimicks much of an LT tire and it's rating is at 45psi. There are very few tires out there for the B1500 for the proper loading and size. I had to shop around many places to find it.

Hope this helps.
