I need to install one- I just ordered a shop manual, I`m not sure if that will be covered.
Is this difficult? Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Oh, yeah, it`s a 1990 B250 5.2L

If you ordered a factory service manual, it will be covered, but I'm not sure about the more generic manuals.

Changing the gauges isn't that hard. Just be patient.

Searching around online, I found a site saying that speedometer parts aren`t available for retail to the general public, for somewhat obvious reasons.
Is this entirely true?

Never heard of that.....not sure if it's true of not.

I guess what they mean is they don't want Joe Blow to be able to buy a new Speedo head with zero miles so a vehicle can be sold with less mileage that what it really has.

Yeah I think that might be correct, about the general public being able to buy new speedos.
