Howdy all,
I am fixin to install my STOCK cam back into my 5.9 engine I am building. This is part of the Rebuild a 5.9 on the Cheap thread. That is the reason I am not installing a aftermarket cam at this point. I just don't have the funds right now and really want to get my Jeep back on the road.
So while I am at it is there any reason to install the cam advanced or retarded? I am using heads from Clearwater Heads w/2.02 intake and 1.62 exhaust & 62cc combustion chambers which is going to bump my compression ratio a little. I bought a Comp Cam timing chain set with 3 key ways. -4* 0* +4* So should I leave it at 0* or?
Oops forgot to add that I am using Harland Sharp 1.7:1 Roller Rockers also.
Thanks
