ive been getting a lightning bolt every once in a while. my truck runs when i get it. but when i step on it, it chokes. if i dont pull over and restart it. th truck stops responding. whats wrong with my truck? i heard it got sumthing to do with my throttle body. is this sumthing i could fix? or do i have to take the truck to get looked at by a mechanic.
Year, make, model and engine? Basically there's an issue with the wireless accelerator pedal not sending signals or the PCM/throttle body not getting signals.
One DT member had a run-away Power Wagon and the problem was in the fly-by-wire TB. Get the truck to the dealer and have it checked before some happens.
Take your throttle body off the truck and clean it really good. Put it back on. Problem solved. Also check your air filter and make sure its not really dirty.
