While running, not all the time but some of the time, usually when it gets into overdrive, the engine will start to shake, and check engine light comes on. Code is 27 for Injector output driver circuit does not respond to the control signal. I have changed out all spark plugs, all spark plug wires, checked distributor cap for cracks, checked voltage and ohms at fuel injectors-all checking out, took fuel injectors out inspected o-rings and cleaned them all (inside and out) then reinstalled just for it to do the same thing. What more can I do, what does this code mean exactly and how do I go about resolving this problem?
were you responding to my other post?? about my temperature gauge? because this is about my code 27 for fuel injectors which is my biggest problem I need to fix, HOW???
Probably was one of the others, there's tooo many threads started
... Anyway: a lack of, or poor coolant temp sensor inputs can mess up fuel; when my 99 had poor CTS, it would not start if temps were lower than -16*F (minus 27*C).
... If not CTS related (IIRC change year was about 97/98), maybe extra wire is for the IAT sensor on mani.
... Will be a bit different as the mani is Hughes air gap, but post 194 shows 2 CTS (IIRC it's a 97 jeep)
Too bad he started so many different posts on the same topic.
This usually irritates members, enough that they do not bother responding to the thread starter.
