They aren't going into production till Feb 25th and mine will be the first one on the line. Probably won't get it till 4 weeks later so the end of March, beginning of April.
Carl, I see you're getting the 4.10 axle ratio. I have 3.73 on my 2500, and tow a 5000 pound camper. My gear ratio's okay, right? Did you have the option of gears, and you chose the 4.10s because of that big load you pull?
customer that comes by my work just got 2 2013 4500 crew cabs and put some nice flat beds on them. said he gets about 10mpg with DEF....but it is a 4500
Must be a late 2012 running def with a 2013 on the door jam, and is a base model truck but like the 13s, it doesn't have dual headlights since they discontinued them
Can't be a 2013 because yours is the first on the production line. The whole plant lines up to prepare for the building of your truck to make sure its first

This is probably B.S. but I heard from "a friend" that when Ram was conducting Davis Damn runs with Powerstrokes and Duramaxs. Neither of them could hold a candle to the new 385 850 cummins.
The lowest output version makes a stout 350 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque and comes with the only six-speed manual transmission in the segment. That's an improvement of 50 lb-ft from last year's stick-shift diesel, and it's matched with a new "wear-compensating" clutch that's supposed to feel like new until the day you finally wear it out. If you don't feel like rowing your own, or you need more power, the second option will net you 370 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque routed through a six-speed automatic. For those not willing to simply upgrade to a Peterbilt, the "High-Output" Cummins cranks out 385 horsepower and an even more ridiculous 850 lb-ft of torque and puts it through a new Aisin six-speed automatic.
Hey Carl, was just thinking about this post when i was reading the autoblog news today..
I see that 2013 rams should have 850lbs of torque now, and 30,000lbs towing capacity.. did they mention this when you ordered?
