I have 3 of them for my cars and I prefer those before the books. You can search with words and that helps a lot at least me I like especially the iPad and iBooks combination, it handles those big PDF's well. On PC there is sometimes challenges with the memory consumption, but if you don't do anything else at the same time, you should be fine.
Bought it and love it. As jippek noted, you can search for key words (<Ctrl> f). You can print out a page or handful of pages and take them out to the garage with you and not care if you get greasy handprints or spill coffee all over them. The PDF pages are numbered in correspondence with the index/TOC so you can just jump to the page or section you are looking for.
Sweet. Guess I'll be getting one then. I'm finally getting to the point of ordering parts for the truck. Decided to forego all the extras I wanted and just go with a barebones rebuild.
