Hey guys I have a 96 dodge 1500 and I wanna do a 12v cummins swap and I just wanted to know what I need for this project. I know people say don't do it and it's not worth it but I want to be different and do this. I know you need the motor and tranny and I need to know what else I need. Please and thank you
Everybody is saying that because of the weight of the engine. Your front axle and suspension just cannot handle it. It'd be cheaper to just find a used Ram that already has the Cummins under the hood.
somehow around here someone put a diesel in a Dakota!
don't know why. I personally don't like the old cummins.
