Here's a stupid question.
I'm curious if there's anything I can do to improve the sound I'm getting running my MP3 through my stereo. Hers's the stats.
'06 RAM W/ stock head unit-Single CD player W/AUX input
Boston Acoustics 6x9 up front
Creative Zen Vision M MP3
I recently added the BA speakers up front and they made a huge difference in sound quality overall. CD's sound good. Plugging in the MP3 gives me good clean sound but volume needs to be cranked about 8-10 notches up to get same volume and that is with a definate lack in sound quality. Both in the clarity of the music and the "thump" and power of it.
I know MP3 quality is lower but is there that much of a difference ? Is the AUX input a shitty source or is the prime area for adding an amp. Convenience is definately the key in the mp3 player and i know alot of you guys are using them in your systems. How are getting such good quality ?
Thanks in advance for all ideas, suggestions, and remarks !
