I'm doing some mods to my 98 360 RAM and one of the things I like to replace is the pistons. Just becasuse I already purchased CAM, roller rockers and roller lifters. I will be shooting 100 shots of NOS and have future plans for a turbo or super charger. Well, I just want to prepare for it since the cam is going to be replace. But I have no idea what to look for....please help...
I wouldnt mess with the pistons if the motor ios not in need of a rebuild. The stocker should hold a 100 shot of nitrous. With a Cam swap, you dont have to pull the motor, but you will for the pistons. Also if you add forced induction, that would be a good time to change the pistons. You want to lower the compression ratio a bit.
