just a little something to add for masking off the tires you can use index cards between the wheel and the tire so you don't have to go crazy getting tape to follow the radius of the tire, still use tape on the tire this just helps make it a little cleaner edge.

Looks good! I just painted a friends set of wheels. I used Duplicolor enamel. I like the enamel based paint cause it has more gloss then a spray paint gloss. They came out great and LOOK WET! They are from a Acura but if you want pics I can.
Also, etching primer is ONLY for bare metal. You want to use this as THIN as possible if you do. Why didn't you post this in the HOW TO SECTION? Great write up. Gonna get lost here..
