You don't have to do all the lights if you just want to do say the head lamps. Also, don't forget to use the member's discount by entering: DODGE for the promo code.

Usually too much current through it because a restriction in wiring/contacts. If a kit from this vendor, contact tech@retro-solutions.com directly asap for troubleshooting assistance.

Cool, you got the other stuff already! That was quicker than expected for this time of year, excellent.

I'm sure it has been asked before but which kit would be best using my stock headlight assemblies? Also when I had my computer flashed when I added factory fogs I had them turn my DRL's on while they were in there(kinda regret it now). Anyways will that cause any issues with HID's? I'm thinking 6k kit bc it seems to be the most popular. Any recommendations or advice on which kit to choose, 35w vs 55w? Thanks.

Seems like you have an 09 model, is that right?
There are specific selections for trucks in markets where the DRLs are mandatory that can also be used in US market trucks with the DRLs turned on too.
Please contact sales@retro-solutions.com though and they'll be happy to show you exactly what you need for your truck specifically!

The kits are available in bolt down and plug up installation setups for the vehicle specific applications. With the correct vehicle application installed according to the provided instructions, it does provide proper function to avoid the flickering and other issues.

As far as the bulb sizes and selections required for your particular model/trim, please contact sales@retro-solutions.com for assistance!

I started my truck up and turned my fog lights on and noticed a smell of plastic burning, got out and went to shut the garage door and noticed only one fog light on. Climbed underneath and noticed the ballast was extremely hot. So I guess it is burned up, and the truck hardly sees any rain and is barely driven. The ballast can't be that old.

Got your 55w HID Kit last July for my Ram.

I hardly drive the truck and I would say the bulbs have no more than 200 hours on them.

I took it out last night and one bulb is not working now.

Is there a way to check with a Volt meter at the bulb plug or an OHM meter on the bulb itself to determine if the bulb is burned out?

If you could give me the correct reading at the pins for either to try and decide if it is the bulb I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Just for your safety, before doing anything, please contact customer service directly for assistance (if you have not already). Because the ballasts do output high-voltage to the bulbs on ignition, we do want to be sure you have direction to check things out safely. Although safety is the first concern there, accuracy and reducing any unnecessary steps sure helps too!
