About a year and a half ago I bought a car to commute to work with...relegating the truck to the dreaded weekender. It's nice that I'm not racking up the miles, but as with every other vehicle I've tried to keep as anything other than a daily driver, little things are starting to add up. The latest is a gas tank strap. Rust is starting to take over. And, I'm guessing electrical gremlins will be next.

My long term plan is to build a garage that I can keep it in, hopefully next summer...I just hope it lasts till I can get it built.

Mine is the opposite. Daily got totaled and racking up the miles and $70 in gas a week. Egr just took a crap for the 3rd time now pass side heated mirror and driver side rear power door lock stopped working. Washer fluid is freezing and truck runs hot every once in awhile.
