I have been looking for a thread with instructions on how to do a flush of the heater core in my 97 dakota. I don't have a manual and can't find anything online. I can follow directions and take apart and put back together anything.
I have already changed out my t-stat. The air is not even luke warm once the temp gets to 160.
Does anyone have instructions on this process? I appreciate your help.
Might be easier to go spend the $20 on the manual so that way you have it for future reference. But here's a link to a how to: http://www.***************/m_640588/tm.htm
Just put Dodgeforum dot com in place of the ******'s everything else is the same. If you still can't find it, just go to that site and go to the second generation dakotas and it should be towards the bottom of the second page called "heater core flush instructions Dakota by Virused" Or do a search there and it should pop up. has pics and instructions.
chev 205 therm will fit............i believe motorad part number is 200-205...........stock therm is 192.............won't hurt anything at all a few degrees warmer...............heat will be alot better
