As many of you know for about 2 years my truck has been stalling while driving, it would never pull any codes which made it hard for the dodge dealership to locate the problem. I have replaced crankshaft position sensor, IAC, Coil, and cleaned throttle body. Batteries and fuel were tested and nothing was wrong there either.. I have been so frustrated because it seems the problem couldn't be fixed and no one knew what was going on. Today though when it died on me it FINALLY READ NO BUS in the odometer section. Which seems to be a PCM issue. I am doing some searching for a salvaged PCM and was wondering if this is something complicated to do. Because dodge wants to charge me like 2 grand for a truck that I only bought for 5000$.

not hard to do. just find one for the same drive train.
before that, try swapping out the asd relay.

Changing the pcm is not hard. Just be careful when buying one from junk yards. I went that route on my 2000 Ram 5 yrs ago. I went through 2 junk yards pcms before just buying a reman online.
