I have a 2003 Stratus Coupe 2.7 with the following problem: It only blows hot air when its turning over 2000 RPM. The minute I rev to that magic 2000 I get hot air otherwise only cold. this goes for defrost or floor settings. Any thoughts?
Have you checked your anti-freeze level? Could be that not enough anti-freeze is circulating through the system. Make sure you are topped off to the recommended level. Hopefully that is all it is. Good luck.
LB3711 and Vin in Boston. Thanks for the replies, LB yea it's not a coupe it's a sedan just like yours (ES 2.7 mag). Vin, Added some antifreeze and it cured the problem. Why is it that I never think of the easy fixes first? I always assume its a major problem. thanks for the help[.
Check to see why you were low on coolant. That stuff doesn't just evaporate. You might have a slow leak somewhere.
