Looking for a pair of replacement spindle nuts for my 77 M880.

Is there a source for these?

Thanks,

Rockauto? Dealer as the axles were used for years.

A quick Google turned up this which - if not what you need - would be a starting point. http://www.quad4x4.com/qu11070.html Looking at a couple of other links, knowing what axle you are dealing with is a good starting point. Grady

Thanks for the response. This has the full time D44 front axle. It's the Castle nut that hold the hub on that I was looking for.

I turned that part up at Rockauto. But that appears to be for a different axle, or a different location within the D40.

That said, after a bit of heat, and a longer breaker bar, I was able to get mine lose.

I was afraid that I would have to cut them off, and I wanted to have a replacement on hand before I started.

I'm good for now, but would like to locate one or two as spares.

Couple of thoughts. If no one else chimes in:

Figure out the size and Google to find s/o that sells them. Or

Find a good alignment/suspension shop and see if they can order them or proved more info. Good luck. Grady
