Engine dies at random times while driving.

2000 dakota 3.9 auto with 245,000 miles on it.

Just looking for some hints on what it might be? Already ran a water remover through gas tank, new tps sensor cause old one cracked, and I replaced all relays under hood to be safe. Plugs are new.
When it happens it will just completely die, does not sputter at all. I just have to cost over to side of road and wait at least 5 minutes before it will start again. No engine codes at all. Sprayed everywhere for vacuum leaks and cleaned iac valve with no change.

Thanks ahead of time. Really want to figure this out since it is what my wife drives.

I would suspect the the crank or cam sensor. Could be the ignition coil also.

I'll try both parts.

If your talking about the coil that connects to distributor, I've put a new one on it just for the check of it and that did not help. Wife is out of work right now so I have to be cheap. Going to buy one of the crankshaft sensors off ebay for 12.00 like I did 6 years ago to see if it helps or not then try pickup-coil.
