i went to my local parts store to look up some prices and the guy there asked my if my 5.7hemi had a D or a 2...I assume it has something to do with the VIN. Mine starts with a D but i was wondering what this is all about. He told me that only 6% of hemi's had a D and 96% was a 2. Anyone here have so insight?
i think thats backwards, most have a D and some have a 2. If someone has a 2 as the 8th digit of their vin, let me know and i will run the vin and see whats different.

I have no idea, this is all i can find on the net. My VIN 1D7-HU18218J-108027
I think its MDS, Because all 05 and older had D at 100% and in 06, it went to 11%
