I own an 05 hemi QC4X4 Ram 1500 and have 113,000 troublefree miles on it. I am moving to S Korea and am thinking of getting a 2500 QC4X4 with the CTD to bring with me. I have found a truck with low miles, in mint shape and it has the 6 speed manual. My employer will pay for a 40' container so I can bring either truck plus my RT Magnum. I believe gas is much more expensive than diesel there, so the attraction to diesel. Any suggestions from CTD owners as to things I should do to it first? I'm planning on a Predator tuner, a CAI and dual exhaust. Any worries with the stock clutch, etc?
Thanks, Thats what I figured. I did find 4 Dodge dealers within 60 miles of where I'll be living, but they probably will shiat when they see a big diesel Ram! Next question , what should I be looking to replace as far the clutch goes? Any experience with aftermarket clutch components, good or bad?
I am in Macau and if the vehicle is not brand new you cannot bring it into the country. Also any and all parts in the Asian countries are for the small vehicles. Be prepared and check with the country requirements before shipping other wise your truck maybe sent back.
if your gonna do the clutch upgrade before you go. You cant go wrong with a SOUTH BEND CLUTCH
