Hey all. New to this group. I have a problem and really need some help. I've got a 2013 ram SLT, quad cab, 2wd, with the v6 flex fuel. I can't sit at idle for more than about 5 minutes without the trucks bells and whistles going off. I will constantly see it get up over 245 degrees. Granted, it's been 90 degrees outside or hotter. Once i start driving again, it all cools back down. This happens even with having the A.C. turned off. The only thing going that helps slightly is by turning the heat on full blast. The fluid levels are good, I've got good A.C. and heat, the fan is working, and the flaps in the grill are opening. Anyone have any ideas on what to try? I'm at a loss and could really use some input!! Thanks any for any help.
