Thats some guy over on ummm the "other site". I think, but he has arh headers and a re grind cam with heads. I thought a re grind wouldnt lope but it does.
I dont want lope. It was over-played with my 2004, then when the Duramax guys got it (and played it like an 80's love song)... Now I just want a clean tuner that opens the doors to every aspect of tuning. I want to be able to adjust timing, shift points/firmness, disable all the dings and chimes. Disable all the anti-this and green-that stuff. Maybe something like EFI Live that allows data logging and on-site modification without relying on the vendor to provide updates and most importantly...Make it cost effective.
X3. Lope is over rated, lol, mine has a little and I hope when I do the new headers and no crossover dual exhaust, it will be a little more noticeable.
If this is the same truck I think it is, it's not even a good sounding lope...something is off. Seems like everyone is infatuated with camming their 4th gens, I don't get it. These truck can run 12s with bolts ons (single-cabs), so why not start with the basics until a good/reliable tuning source becomes available?
More or less. Pretty sure it shuts down for a month or so in late December/early January and reopens in February or something like that. Test n tune nights are 2 or 3 nights per week and they do a "Midnight Madness" the first or last Saturday of everymonth (I always forget which it is). But generally, November through December we have negative DA's. The track is 12ft above sea level.
