To test, seal the intake with a bag, and pressurize the intake tract. I have a valvestem in a block with all my boost lines. I can check boost leaks with any air pump

i am using a dakota air hat on mine. supposedly it will hold boost no problem.
i have checked for boost leaks and i do have one on the hot side intercooler pipe. with the funky bends i put in it i dont blame it. so i ordered a 45 degree 3.5 to 3" intercooler hose so that i can take some bends out and have a more direct incoming flow and get rid of the leak. the air hat seals fine and i dont see an issue with the plastic and boost
i know im going to sound cheap but i didnt wanna spend the 150-200 on a aluminum air hat when this one works for now. i do want to get a different one when i get a new intake so i can run my iac into it and not have to worry about it blowing out the threads on this one.
right now im shooting for 7lb. ill see how the pump hold for pressure. im looking into the walbro still just havent bought it yet.
future would be new heads and a intake manifold then up to 10-12lb

i did build my own pressure testers when i built the kit.
just 2 3" chinks of pipe capped off and one has a valve stem in it. i realize i have to disconnect parts to test but i can still test from turbo to intake which are the problem areas.

Here is an option for a intank fuel pump. http://stores.hi-potek.com/-strse-21...ric/Detail.bok The write-ups I have read on these pumps sounds a lot better than the Walbro pumps. It is what I plan on installing into my Jeep.

I still hate the idea of an in tank. The thought of replacing/repairing angers me lol.

I still say a frame mounted pump with boost regulated return is the ticket. But, I will never tell anyone NOT to run an aero pump. They are quality, and will be my primary pump on the race truck.

Also, what is 340lph in gph? Around 100gph? Thats good for about 500hp in a gasser right?

A write up for install? They're super easy. Hardest part for you would be needing to draw from the top, but there are straws for that.

That's what I'm afraid of I think they upped the pressure on the Hemi pumps in late 04 after realizing they were pushing the limits. Once I get it running I'm sure the wide band will tell me if I start dropping off.
