Picked up a 01 Ram quad cab sport 4x4 with the 360 about a month ago.
Just finished putting the engine back together, waiting on the t-case to be finished.

1997 1500 4x4 extended cab with the 5.2, auto combo. Got 120,000 miles, still running strong. Plenty of power for my needs.

I've got the 318 yet again, so far so good with it, i checked all the gaskets and no weird noises or anything, no leaks, only leak is the crankshaft rear main seal but thats no big deal.

Got the 360 with 156k miles on it. Runs like a champ!! 2 previous owners before me and Carfax showed a lot of TLC from those owners. I consider myself lucky.

318 1500 bare bones truck. Bought it new off the lot in '98. Took it off the road as business was slow at the end of 2008. 2012 has been our best year to date so its registered again. 115K miles and runs great. Minor oil seepage/leak at rear crank seal but nothing to worry about, typical of the age I reckon.

They usually leak at the back of the intake or the valve covers are loose. Seen hundred's. Never seen a rear main leak on one.

1998 dodge ram 1500 club cab with the 318 when my dad bought it as his daily driver when i was bout 10 years old it had around 60k miles on it. im 21 and now its my DD with and has 228***k miles on it and never had a motor rebuilt or replaced
