Fogs and Highbeams 07 1500

Hey guys I have a 07 1500 and Id like to find a way to keep my fogs on with my high beams. Is there some sort of a "code" to put in to make this happen, or can i run a jumper from the foglight fuse to my highbeam fuse? A friend told me to try that but Id like to ask your guys opinion on that before playing with my fuse box.

LOL, that's to get rid of the Hemi tick NOT Fog/Highbeam on! To original poster...you can't jump the fuse, that's only good for the 02-05 Rams. You need to reprogram the PCM for 06 and up.

I've had luck using a buddies bullydog diesel programmer on my 06. I just plugged it in and went to "other options" and it gave a list of stuff to turn on/off along with the fogs on with high beams. I also turned on the delayed auxiliary.

I tried this kit and it worked but gave me a CEL B1661–FRONT FOG LAMP CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN. So i was worried about frying my TIPM so i disconnected it. I called the company based out of Ohio and he said they have never had anyone say that they had that problem. he claimed it was powered by the signal rather than the 12v system. Nevertheless i didnt hook it back up bc it wasnt worth frying components.

Got any pictures of the 'kit'? What is it exactly?

Its just a relay with an in line fuse to a 12v, ground, a t-tap to your high beam wire(wht/gr), and another t-tap to the fog light wire (blue).

you could program yours with these settings even though its not a CTD?

Yes sir. The bullydog tuner was still tuned to his truck and mine was superchips tuned while I did it. I think the tuner just turns these setting on with in the computer much like the dealer would. There was options for headlight delay, aux power delay, idle control using cruise controls, DRL's, fogs on with highs, and there was one or two more but I don't remember what they were.

That would be awesome if only i knew someone with a bullydog tuner.

Yeah I know. I've only found bullydog and the H&S tuner only have the feature. Maybe others. It would be nice if superchips and diablo supported it.

gotta find me a local buddy with one of these tuners. LOL

Can you still turn the fogs off by using the factory switch or are they always on when you turn lights on?

Yes, you can turn them on & off as your please.

i had mine turned on with the star scan tool, i do have my own special scanner that says it can do "options" on can bus vehicles, ill have to look and see if it works on mine too

you can go to any dodge dealer and have them set the truck for canada roads instead of united states. fog lights and highs are legal there. problem is, not every dealer will do it because of liability reasons, and the ones that do often want to charge an hour to do it. ($85 bucks or so)

Yea i tried that all they would do was turn on my drl's and wouldn't do my fogs on high bc of the liability reason

The only problem with turning on the DRL's is once the dealer turns them on, they cannot turn them off if you change your mind.
