Ordered a TC from APS Precision. Talked to Wayne and it should show up next week. I know most people go with Circle D or Edge but something steered me towards the APS. They seemed to have the most technical information available which led me to believe they deliver the best product.
I will definately give a full report once it's in the truck. ![]()

Took foot off brake & mashed the throttle Traction control OFF - no foot brake. Took foot off brake & mashed the throttle Hole Shot? - Tried to stall it up to 2400- as if to pull a hole shot. I need traction... WOT run - Found a nice flat road. Rolling start to minimize tire spin.

My Rusty 99, I read your review on that other post and that's what turned me on to APS. I'm hoping with a heavier truck on 35's that I won't have the same traction issues you are having. I don't race my truck, just love better performance and after having Randy's R&P put the 4.56's in the truck, this seemed like the next logical step.
I've been thinking about pulling the trigger for about a year. The deciding factor was getting on-line and drunk at the same time, voila, TC ordered.

My co-worker told me to call these guys and order one since this is the place he got his for 96 Mustang running high 9s in the 1/4.
Just was not too sure since I did not see anyone else running this brand.

My install + bench time is going to be around 1K. I am getting the trans-go shift kit put in at the same time. I could probably get it done cheaper somewhere else but this shop was reccomended to me and the owner is a great guy and I know he will stand by his work. Same reason I took my truck to Randy's R&P for my 4.56 gear install.

I've been running a 2800 stall for several years from APS in my Dakota R/T. I have not had one drop of trouble with it.
