It's all good brother. Lol.i have purchased a extended warranty and ford dealer by me is ram by younger guys who know mods aren't as bad as people say. Service manager even told me his favorite tuner for the sd's. lol. SCT. As far as trade in I broke even. Told them to pay it off or I'm gone. Since I went on the 31st it was their last day to get bonus and sales so they did.

i got to laugh.....you complain about gas mileage but you dont look at what you have done with your truck...big tires, programmers, cai, changed exhaust...and you wonder whats wrong with the mileage. DUHHHHHH. if all that stuff worked for better mileage, dont you think all manufacters would do it? these are far cheaper than anything they do. My 2009 hemi crew cab with the bad 3.21's and 2x4 gets 21-22 on the interstate if under 72 MPH. it is running with 265-70-17 michelans that are SUV crosstours. i get 14 around town. I have no complaints. i knew what I was getting. and i will not get better mileage no matter what I do.

2x4...??? Why not just buy a Prius. Mileage played a big roll also. 24k in 8 months. Now when I hit 200k I can just swap some parts instead of looking to sell truck or trade in. Plus towing. Oh.. my ford has 35's also and no mods yet and still getting better mpg's then hemi with 33's. all my mods were with the more air in.. more air out which helps with mpg. And 3.21's are good for mpg not bad like u think. I now have factory 4.10's and still getting better.

sorry, I had a senior moment....I meant 4X2. My point is the mods you did took away from better gas mileage, not helped it. the 2 biggies you have are the tires (size and type) and the lift. these kill gas mileage. the hemi loves gas if you push it and i do push mine and get awful mileage when I do. I also tow occassionally (with the 3.21's) and the hemi tows great. I have towed a 21 ft boat, several 10 to 12 fott trailers, open and enclosed. the mileage varies if in the mountains but get 16 ish

Love your new truck, that new powerstroke is a nice motor (been very reliable as well). One word of caution, don't go pushing it above 500HP with tunes/etc. over on a few diesel forums they are finding that the bottom end can't hold 500HP or more, the rods let go. There are some companies making forged rods now, but just wanted to toss it out there before you run a crazy tune and kill the truck.
