It comes off for every day driving, but we store tools back there for the project so it's on for now. I like using it on trips, it helps a tiny bit with gas mileage and keeps stuff dry, but my dirt bikes don't fit under it.

That's the one thing that I about having a hard tonneau cover on both my trucks. The bike really doesn't fit under it lol.

my quad has only been in the truck twice. just left the cover up and put it in backwards. by the time it hit the sub box the bars were touching the tonneau. so it fit ok lol.

Waiting on gaskets still to put the heads on. I got the newly cut driveshaft in today, rear diff fluid went in. I started bleeding the brakes, but my last bleeder broke!
I'll try an extractor tomorrow, if no luck I'll buy a reman'd caliper, the local store has them in stock.Getting the rest of the fluids in tomorrow I think [clutch, trans, transfer case] we're down to the wire before moving, heads are supposed to go on on Monday according to my buddy, who seems lax about all of this! Oh well no way I can rush him, he's just waiting on parts. After I get the rear bolts of the rear torqued [210 ft/lbs!!] and one of the e-brake cables swapped the top end and all the sensor connections will be the only thing left.

Well the bad news is I didn't finish it before I had to leave. I am now in Washington and it's in Texas. My buddy is finishing it up for me and supposedly has the heads on now and plans to have everything done within a couple of weeks.

Well not much to update, guy that has been working on it has been really busy doing other things. Apparently it turns over and won't start, so he got a new computer and sensor package for it, we'll see how that helps. I'll have to pry a picture or two from him with the top end on, I just want to see it together! He said it should be up and running after new year's weekend.
