Ouch says the wallet

Time to fill up the Ram, with the 35g tank. I always let it go down to fillup light. the 120.00 doesnt bother me that much since she is semi-retired, the challenger gets most of the miles now. I took the truck out the other day to drive thru the puddles after picking up the kids. The challenger doesnt like those puddles!

Last week 87 octanne went down as low as .999/L. It felt like early Christmas haha, it's back up to 105.9/L ($4.00/gal) but that's still way better than what it was like 2 years ago.

You forget, we pump it hundreds (maybe 1000 miles) to have it refined and then we haul the gas all the way back and buy it at a premium price! It's the Canada way lol.

I drive a lot and have to get a full tank every other day during the week

That's why I love my 26 gallon tank.

Last fill up was $67.81 (21.81 gallons) with the price at $3.10. It's down to $3.09 as of yesterday. I generally do not let it get that low - usually I fill up when it gets to half a tank. Doesn't hurt as much.

It's down to $3.05 where my son goes to college. At one point it broke through the $3 point to $2.97 but went back up.

Hell, I've given up paying at the pump. I just pump, then walk in to pay, at least we can still do that in Alberta. I hated hitting the $100, then putting another $7-$10 in, seemed a waste of another transaction. Worst fill up I had was coming back from BC, filled with 94 and 2 Jerry cans, came to $218.

Kroger has their double points reward going on till the end of Dec. Filled up Tuesday for $2.49 a gal. Thats stilling using 93oct.

Anybody remember when gas was $1.50/gal? My first job was at a gas station and this old guy came in and said "wait a few years and gas will be $1/L ($3.79/G)" I figured it would never get that high, now I'm happy when it goes down that low!

I can remember when they had to cut the face plate on the pumps so you could see that the fuel was more than a one dollar a gallon.

That 28.827 Gallons here in the UK would have cost you $230.61.
Petrol here is $8 per gallon and diesel is $8.40 per gallon. This is why my truck runs on LPG which is $4.32 per gallon.

I`m thinking you guys have it quite good! Enjoy it while you can because it can only go one way.

No, It can def go down, if the gov lets us access our own oil!

That my friend is a resounding WTF! Now I gotta check to see what others are paying.

Average about $75 to fill a shortbed at a quarter is tought, but a grand to fill the home heating fuel tank is @^$*( up. $35 a day for the generator (for 11 days) during Sandy was no joy, added to the fact I had to go to pennsy to avoid 2-4 hour lines.

Can't pump first and then pay here. You have to either prepay or pay at the pump. Too many drive offs.......

Ha! I remember when gas stations were pricing it by the half gallon since none of the pumps could be set for prices over $0.99/gallon. Was odd to see prices like $0.55 after seeing the price at $.99. Either way it'd be nice to pay only $0.99 or $1.10 a gallon.......

At any rate prices are down to $3.08 this evening.

Gas went down to $3.21/Gal here tonight. Should have seen the idiots lined up at the pumps & out on the streets!!! (act like they haven't paid for fuel so "cheap" in their lives???)

Was nice to see diesel was up to $3.79/Gal though! Good 'Ol Diesel!!! Make it cost more, because it's just SO MUCH MORE Efficient! Supply & demand my balls. Didn't see one diesel "coal roller" in that station waiting to fill up! Alot of Fuel Efficient four bangers, though. They celebrating $0.06 price drop and for what? Maybe 10-12 gallons? They saved $0.60-$0.72 at the most?

its amazing how saving a few cents makes people feel rich or like theyre getting one over on the oil company. granted i get happy when i see gas drop, but not enough to wait on line to save a few pennies. shit, after this past hurricane, i hope i never have to wait on line for gas again!
