The 4300k's will keep you totaly legal. 6000k kits are kinda iffy in some states. I ahve 43's in my truck and have more than enough light for night driving.

thanks for all the help guys. just bought some 4300k 55watts from jeremy at retro. will let you know how the install goes. gotta list my 35watt 5000ks now
 , bnib. never installed them cause i didnt think theyd be much of an improvement.

soo i got em, but could use a set of instructions as far as how to install my hid's from jeremy. anyone know where theres a good how to writeup?

ok, anyone willing to give me tech support please click on the link below, click on "how do i install the wiring on my hid kit" and tell me which of these 5 diagrams we use to install these hid kits on our 3g rams. i think its #3 bixenon kits, but i wanna make sure before i proceed. thanks, jason

none of those are the Ram specific diagram.
 In the box is a red "STOP" label with a link to HIDLIGHTZ.com - go there and use your last name and order number (found in the box on the packing slip) and that will pull up the diagram and instructions for your kit there. Shot that over in PM too, and I'll be back on the site here in a bit if you have any questions!

just an update in case anyone checks this thread. i installed 55watt 4300k hids from jeremy. they are ridiculously awesome. i love them. 3x brighter than stock, and our headlights have a cap, so even without projectors i am not getting flashed. just aim appropriately and you'll be fine. pretty much same as the old bulbs but if stock low beams are facing someone, or for that matter you leave your high beams on, it really doesnt matter and youre not blinding anyone. these hids on the other hand, light up the road. love em. jeremy is the man! 4300k is the color too. whiter than stock for sure, but most cops and oncoming traffic wont notice the difference. just brighter.
