Yeah I would say my truck was heat soaked a bit on the last run as you can see on that last run vs the 2nd I lost over a mile on my trap......I ran with the bed cover on and maybe that was slowing me down (who knows). It was humid/68 degrees last night as well and I'm sure that had to play a factor. I'm sure I'll get it together and should be able to cut a low 1.9 high 1.8 once I shed some weight.

Did you manually shift in that 2nd run to make it shift from 2nd into 2nd prime aka 3rd gear?? At nearly 79 mph trap speed something looks like it change a little.

Yeah I'm sure bouncing off the rev limiter didn't help.....I had my shifts set at 6200 rpm but it doesn't let me go past high 5900s, So I did have some bog down on the 1-2 shift. I've got a revised tune from Hemifever this morning and I'll see if that helps. I believe there are alot of perimeters that need to be worked on Diablos side because you can't change the shift points right now on the trinity without the shift schedule going all crazy and not wanting to shift out of first. I'm sure this has been brought to their attention by me, Hemifever, and a few other 2011's. I guess until there done releasing the tunes to the other vehicles there not gonna work on it. But yeah anytime I need a shift change I have to let Hemifever revise the tune and reload it...which sucks.

Running the truck at the track is a whole different ball of wax thats for sure.
You should be running 94 gas or even race gas so you can eliminate any chance of knock. If you dont have knock get hemifever to add more timing. And dont be afraid to get the tires wet,they wont hop as much once you start your burnout. You should also do a non custom tune run for comparsion sake. You have a 13 second slip,but your going to have to fix that rev limiter problem,not very good for the motor.

Also if you get stuck in the staging lanes, I would pop the hood and only start the engine to move up as necessary. I agree that he has a 13 second trucks, just needs more practice to snag the timeslip with 13s printed on it. People that have never been down the track, seriously underestimate how everything has to align to get a 13 second or quicker truck. |

Well I get a decent launch (no doubt it could have been better) but yeah the track was pretty bad with it just rained earlier in the day (you can see the mud on the rear quarter panels) and the way the crew ran it. The main issues is after the launch with the 1-2/2-3 shifting within the tune that's killing me, Diablo just rushed an unfinished product to the market when they should have refined the issues first....you can't change any perimeters without it breaking the shifting schedule from the hand held (except tire size and other minor things) and even then it's still not wanting to shift the way I want..... I'm sure it will get figured out eventually by diablo or Hemifever.

Even with a stock tuned truck it will bounce off the rev limiter with the smaller tires,it just revs up way to quick.
I would try and keep my rev limiter at 6500 RPM,and maybe leave your shiftpoints stock. that might fix the problem for now. I destroyed my old hemi motor from bouncing off the rev limiter,so I would not do that very often. For sure truck must be cooled down after each run,lift the hood and let it sit.
