P0740 Code after shop replaced the battery

Hello All,
My father in-law has a 2002 Grand Caravan 3.8 with about 72K. Noticed that the cel came on. Scanned it and came up with a code P0740 (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit. This only started happening after the battery was replaced. Please let me know where to start looking. Anything around the battery location (sensors, connectors) that could have been knocked loose? Thanks in advance |

A long shot. Disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes. This may reset the transmission control module and will reset you CEL.
Other than any wire harnesses routed near the battery take a look at the transmission solenoid pack connection on the front of the tranny. It's about the closest possible component dealing with the TCC. Here's a diagram of it's location: http://www.justanswer.com/dodge/1xnl...e-caravan.html |
