I would say that in my 10+ years of selling HID kits, these are by far the best quality kits we've ever sold.

You're correct, when you hyper-charge an HID bulb from 35w up to 50w, you decrease the life of the bulb, which is the reason the 35w kits carry a 5 year warranty, and the 50w only carry a 1 year warranty.

Is there a write up on the installation anywhere?

New to projectors and HID's. Which should I be looking at for an 09 SLT with the single beam headlights?

Thank you

yes, i will post general installation instructions shortly.

If you have single beam headlights on your 4th gen, you'll need an H13 bi-xenon kit. If you are adding projectors to them, we'd need to know what kind of projectors they are to provide the correct bulb size.

I have a set of the h1 morimoto projectors in my factory headlights and I was wonder if the 35w & 50w kit's h1 bulb was all plastic or does it have a metal mounting base?

The bulbs I have installed are a cheap set (h1 6,000k) that is all plastic and they aren't sitting in the projector right and its not as bright as it should be.. I can wiggle the bulbs in a certain direction just a tad and the light output increases significantly.

You're correct, some of the lower end HID kits do have issues with alignment due to generic bases, which can cause the bulbs not to seat properly. These kits pair perfectly with the H1 morimoto mini projectors. They are a VERY high quality bulb, rather you choose the 35 or 50 watt kit.

Here is some info on these bulbs from the manufacturer:

Kelvin & Luminosity: High quality Praxair (US) halide salts in the capsule of the 3Five bulbs ensure their color temperatures are as accurate as can be, while producing the maximum amount of lumens possible for each particular Kelvin rating. (3K/4.3K/5K/6K)

UV Output: Quartz glass minimizes the bulbs emission of ultraviolet light, which is harmful for the reflective surfaces inside your headlights. Often overlooked, but very important!

Precise Alignment: A ceramic sleeve surrounds the base of the glass capsule keeping things properly lined up. The resulting uniform distribution of light and well-defined beam limits will certainly stand out in comparison. For best results, we highly recommended use in projector based headlights.

Integrated rubber housing caps allow for a clean installation and weather-proof connection with externally mounted ballasts or relay harnesses.

Priced almost as much as a full eBay HID kit, we understand these are pricey. But, you do pay for what you get here. Better quality, better performance, and backed by a solid company.

Here's mine installed that I just got from Chad. They are 35w 5000k in headlights and fogs. I can't wait for it to get dark to try them out. Install was fairly easy, and a special thanks to Chad for answering a couple questions to confirm everything was hooked up right. He's a great guy to deal with. I will be buying more from him.

Can you take both head on and behind the wheel pics? I got the same set but haven't had time to put them in. When you do check them out at night could you give your impression of glare? I don't want to be blinding anyone else on the road. I have been told that the lower wattage lights help resolve that.

When I was buying mine I was asked about color preference and I stated white with minimal glare. They look well built and not cheap at all. Hopefully I can get them installed before Xmas.

I took it out for a quick spin once it got fully dark, but didn't get any pics then. I'll get a couple pics tomorrow after work. The output is awesome, and there doesn't seem to be any glare at all. I drove down the road about 6 miles, and didn't get a single person flash me. I was quite surprised, cause I thought it might be blinding oncoming traffic, but its aimed perfectly from the factory setting halogen bulbs. I'm very glad I did the fog lights at the same time. Those fog lights are so much brighter than the stock halogens now.

Yeah, the whole kit looks very well made. I am very happy with the the outcome. It was a mod well worth the $$. Only wish I did it earlier.

Chad,

Thank you for the help with my order.

I do have a question. One box with the bulbs has a dot indicating it is H10 bulbs. The other box is not labeled. Which bulbs are for the headlights and which ones are fogs? Sorry to seem not informed but I want to be 100% when I go to install them.

Thanks again,

Jeff

FYI, I tried to message you but you exceeded your quota.

The H10 are the fogs, and the H11 are the low beams.
