4x4 reliability

I have been looking for a 2003 Dodge RAM 4x4 Diesel but am concerned about longevity. How often would this need to be repaired is towing is light to nil?

I would repair as often as it breaks? If your asking how long it will last I would say that they can last a few hundred thousand miles before major engine repair. I wouldnt personally buy one with more than 150k miles. Anything can go wrong with more than that mileage. Suspension engine tranny you just never know.
