Hey Hemi450... I have a Vararam, and a DI/DO 14" Magnaflow muffler. Do you think the 87 will be better or the 85? I might pick up a programer down the road mines a 2011 BTW

I would stick with the 85mm for your setup unless you are planning on adding headers as well. The extra air in isnt going to show the best gains until the full exhaust has been re worked. If you are thinking about headers down the road as well, then I would say go with the 87mm.

Matt I'm gonna be on the dyno tomorrow for an hour.....I'm going to be doing a stock tune pull with my current set-up vs two hemifever tunes. If I have time still left I'll swap in the stock TB and make a pull with it. I plan on taking some vids but will have dyno sheets...I will post my results.

Matt, I have an 05', mods so far are: E-fan, Superchips3865, BBK shorties, Jba y-pipe, Borla cat-back, 180 t-stat not installed yet, power wire (summer months), jet scoop,K&N drop in filter, 3" tube to eliminate Hemi hat.

Would the 85 or 87 mm be better for my application? I'm looking for off the line and under 2000 rpm performance and or fuel mileage. But if on or the other offers a better increase over all what do you suggest ? Thanks

Also looking for a good intake, and package deal on gears&DTT for a 4x4.

You didn't say it, you joined the team and then tried to justify someone else doing it. This product seems very legitimate after years of many people saying the Mopar TBs were as good as they could be. These dudes doin the the R&D for these shouldn't be asked to do special favors when they are offering real performance upgrades that many said weren't even possible.

Matt. Saw someone asked for a package deal. Do you sell 4.10 gears for a 2011 rear end? I think I will get the 87mm as I see JBA is working on long tubes.

Just bringing this back to the top. We currently have 13 of 87mm TB's in stock and 6 of the 85mm.

Yesterday I installed an 87mm on a 2005 with full bolt-ons and a Diablo tuner. He loves it. He said that throttle response on the highway improved greatly, and there was a very noticable power increase over 2500rpms.

I highly recommend this product. Made a huge difference on my truck!!

Get rid of the TB spacer, It's a paper weight :P if you don't plan on doing anymore modding the 85 would be what I would go with (:

Lol I'm not an employee of moes :P I buy from him enough though haha. I am sure he would say the same thing how ever.

HAHA...Chaney is right. For your mods, the 85mm would be best. If you plan to add headers as well down the road, then you would be better off with the 87 so that you dont have to upgrade later. If you are only planning to add the tuner, then the 85mm is the way to go.

I was with the crowd that said that these TB spacers make good door stops or a pretty paperweight. But at our last South Texas Mopar GTG, we were talking about the TB spacers and it would seem some are seeing true benefits from the spacer being in place. The real odd part is that it's a hit-or-miss thing. Two vehicles that are the same in every way and both install the TB spacer. It works great for one but does nothing for the other. So maybe we should be so fast to say they don't work. Some DT members may see some benefits from the the thing.

Thanks Matt for the TB. Had it installed probably before the Fed Ex guy left the area lol. I can really tell the difference with the new TB installed. Before if I was at a certain RPM, the truck wouldn't kick down when I mashed the pedel, with the TB installed, I can hit the gas and it will kick down each time.

Shipping was really quick as well. Awesome guy to work with, will be back for more goodies... BTW, do you sell the 4.10 gears for 2011's?
