OIL Change / road trip

Hello all , I have an 2010 RT classic that I bought new last Aug.

It has 5,200 miles on it , I changed the oil once at 2600 miles cause the computer told me it was time

I used Q-state synthetic and a Mopar filter.

I will be going on a 3000 mile round trip over thanksgiving and the following week.

Should I change it before we leave or wait till we get back or both?

I prefer not to have it done while we are gone , I like to change the oil myself.

I use synthetic and change every 6000 miles. I think you should be fine.

I concur, you'll be fine running synthetic. If it makes you feel any better I only do one oil change a year on my vehicles and accumulate 10-15K on each one.
