What HITS and what FITS

Ok I'm new to this forum and have been reading about leveling kits. Some say with a 2.5" leveling kit 33's are as big as you can run without rubbing and some say you can run 35's without rubbing. All the 4x4 shops I have talked to say 35's will not rub with the 2.5" leveling kit. I have already ordered a 2.5" leveling kit (front only) from hell bent steel and would to know if I can run 35's on the stock chrome steel wheel without the tires rubbing

I would like to know too! Seeing as I'm going to be removing my leveling kit and going up, but I might be getting the CST 4"/1" spindle/rear spacer lift. Hopefully I can fit 35's with it.

If you are running the stock 20" wheels your tire will hit the UCA b/c of the width. You will need to run spacers. If you have the 17's you should be fine. As far as the height you should be fine, if you did get any scrubbing it would be minimal under full lock

I have a 2009 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, completely stock at this point. I'm looking to purchase a set of Toyo MT Open Country. Without spacers or a lift/leveling kit, what would be the largest/best size tire I could mount on the stock 20" rim without rubbing/hitting??

Hello,I am looking to get some 20x9 fuel Hostage (+14 offset) on my stock rcsb 4x4.I believe stock offset is +19,I'm hoping the smaller +offset will make up for the extra tire width.I want the wheels tucked like stock,you think this offset is going to be ok?.Just not sure of clearance issues,also I'm not wanting flares and don't want the tires sticking out too much.I'm looking at getting the 295/60/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers that are a 34.4"tall and 12.1" wide.Any input appreciated,thanks.

ICON 4.5 lift with 17x8.5 (4.75" BS) Method Standard wheels and 37x13.50R17 Toyo M/T's. No rubbing issues thus far.

I have a set of 20x10 Ultra Baja Champs (-25 offset I think) wrapped in 305/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

They fit with NO problem at all on my 08 Reg Cab (stock suspension)...being that I just got rid of that truck and got a 2012 Ram 1500 QC, anyone know if these tires will fit the same as they did on my 08, or did something change in the last 4 years that MIGHT make my wheels/tires not fit or rub?

I have the 2.5" leveling kit and have installed LT275/65 R20's which are 1" taller than the stock 33's.....no problems at all

Just so it's out there: 305/70/R17 BFG KM2s fit on stock 2011 Power Wagon

no lift no wheel spacer ..little rub at full left ......but look a lot better with 2.5'' leveling kit

Rim specs would help a bunch...

I just noticed he put the size in the subject line of the post. 35-12.50-17.

What about us 17" guys? Anybody know the offset on the 2011 SLT wheels and the biggest tire I could put on them. I believe they are 17x9".

Few questions.

How do you guys deal with the speedometer reading change when switching to taller tires? Can it be reprogrammed or calibrated?

Since my truck is a stock 2011 1500 4x4 that was 38.5" to top of wheel well in the rear and 35.5" in the front and I have installed only the Bilstein 5100 adjustable set to 2.1" would I be able to run 35x12.5x18 tires until I install a 4" lift? Or should I hold off until I install the lift?

I would like these wheels and tires to look good with the Bushwacker style fender flares, so sort of flush, just inside the flare. What offset do I get?
