As long as it is the same transmission the 94 specs will work just fine. Very little difference between the 94 -97 vans. Biggest difference is 95/96 where the computer was changed from OBD-I to OBD-II.

1977 Chevrolet Impala Sedan, 5.0L, TH200, 2.56:1, 106K miles, 37 Lifetime Warranty Parts.
1989 GMC Sierra Extended Cab 5.7L, 5 Speed, 3.08:1, 327K miles, 0 Lifetime Warranty Parts.
1997 Dodge Ram B2500, gone.

factory service manual

thanks for the tranny site that's pretty good but i still don't know what tranny i have because the one they showed was for a 1992 dakota and doesn't look anything like mine in the picture. The one they show is an A518 four wheel drive.

Which pan gasket matches yours? Do you have OD? Process of elimination...

The 4WD does have a different tail housing but your '94 FSM should have an illustration of what a 2WD (A727,A500 or A518) looks like.
