You even seen that wire that they use for brick laying it comes in galvanized and black rubber coated with I'd say 1/2 sq. holes. that might wrap nice around the light not sure. Somebody has to make scew on screen covers. I'll have to look around. I'm sure somebody at a fab shop could punch one out quick enough.

Only problem with those are small rocks will still hit the glass

I dont have them. I dont have holes for them, So, this week, im going to junk yard to find a bumper that is same color as Durango. I currently have the ugly primer type bumper covers.. I cant stand them.. So, either i find them at he junk yard, or I order off ebay, primed and I'll paint them myself..

Either way, I'll have fog light ( driving lights) very soon, like this week soon.

Im also getting halo headlights, all clear, will look nice..

Are you going to clear the turn signals? Let me know if you pass inspection since I live in PA too

My original fogs are still going strong....Knock on wood!!!

Sorry I never saw this... you have to bake the headlights to open them, then remove the orange reflector.

That's what I was afraid of. Not sure it's worth it. How do they look up close with that done?

Not sure... I have never seen one up close or a good enough to picture.

I plan on putting some yellow and white fog lights on my truck. Lots of pickup trucks & SUV's here in Colorado run fogs wether it's foggy or not. It doesn't bother me, actually it makes their vehicle more visible. What bugs me is people who do not turn on their headlights when it is pouring rain, or snowing like crazy. They don't realize that lights are not just for them to see, but be seen as well.

I know what you're saying. Truth is, if really heavy rain (rare) or heavy snow I just use my fog lights. Fog lights in snow conditions are great but its all based on speed. If you're doing 35 or so fogs are okay. If faster then either conditions don't make for the need of just fogs or you're just an idiot driving too fast for the conditions.

There is a reason as to why fogs (factory) only come on with the park lights...

My '04 Durango didn't come with the factory fogs, though the plugs are there. I've read some posts in here about adding fogs to vehicles with the factory plugs, but none are descriptive enough (and/or conflict with other comments) to sell me on taking on the project just yet. A hole saw or new front bumper won't be too bad, but if I have to get into a whole lot of wiring, relays and switches I'm not sure it'll be worth it. It was one thing to add on LCD headrests / DVD head unit / backup camera, but depending on how close to "plug and play" adding fogs to existing plugs is, this sounds like it may be much more time/labor intensive than those projects were. Ah, decisions, decisions.......lol.
