Yeah I have a complete gasket set from felpro already I il have to measure the thickness, what would happen if I just use what the kit gave me

Im a little tired! The H infront of the part number indicates its hyper. If you want the stock compression the .039 or felpro 1008s will give you that.

also you said something about spending the extra cash getting the one that has unlimited updates does that mean I can keep getting more tunes for free instead of paying over and over?

How does this work and what would be the best package to buy?

although sct is close the first time. there's always something left out. idle speed, a/f ratio tweek, shift parameter, ac idle drop, timing, ect ect! the unlimited is the way to go. especialy since you arnt stock compression anymore.
standard fuel can be tuned into a 10/1 motor. i'd push the 9.5 limit if i had the chance again. a higher ratio will make the cam really pop!

I'm confused

Now with those pistons you guys are saying and the info is saying that i will loose a little compression, but the heads im putting on is goign to slightly increase my compression with those iron ram 2.02s wouldnt I be right back around to stock..or even high compression since I bored it over .030

can you send me the link the the SCT i should get theres like 50 on that website lol and I cant see the difference in them besides super charger or turboed or stage 2 lol

because your bored over this adds some .1 on the comp/ratio. the heads add some and a thinner gasket will put you about 9.25 - 9.3 /1. walla you just gained like 10hp without the cam! your in the 325 -350 hp range at the flywheel. are you putting a performer intake mani on this one?

definatly arp hardware for the heads. i used bolts so that i could take the heads off with ease. if i where to have used studs, i was told the heads are harder to get out from under the hood. make sure to retorque at least once 1k miles later to 95- 100'lbs. dont forget to retorque.

Oh yeah this engine is gonna be done up pretty I'm gonna list every part thats goign into the new motor and tell me what you think the horse power will be to the RWR wheels

any normal hydraulic lifter will cheat you some on the lift. the squish is what lubricates the valve train. when the lifter is forced up buy the cam, the lifter pocket is collapsed minutely/some and this pump is what forces oil up through the push rod, squirting the valve covers. dont know that you need better vacuum or a sophisticated roads X lifter, but my experience with lifters is really bad, so give them a try! i used crower lifters. the mopars were soft as crap, the entry johnsons were even worse. maybe the performer johnsons would have been ok. roads was on my list. install the lifters with the hole on top!
an adjustable set of roller rockers. no doubt about it. have the push rods start long, and begin adjusting from there. its taken me months to get the v-train correct. just the thought of using the roads "ticking lifter" makes me shutter. a friend of mine told me his roads dont tick!

in your opinion of all those rockers you showed which would you go with, and what lift would you roll with. Or would oyu just go with thoe rhoad ones

have you ordered the lifters yet. talk to compcams. they will tell you what to expect for vac on that set up. my cam pulls 15" at idle... the 604 if i were to guess should pull 12"- 15".. just around ten inches of vac is where it begins to get bad for brakes. after you talk to comp then ask hughes what they think. the 604 cam isnt goin to starve you for vac i dont assume. maybe you dont need the roads lifters. i dont know enough about lifters to make that call. i ran a cam at 8" of vac and the brakes where pretty bad! i think youll be ok with a standard/performance set of lifters but thats my opinion.
rockers? i have hughes 1555. love um! hard to set up though a great system. no guide plates. they added to my lift just a bit /.015/ they are a 1.65 ratio rocker. i guess the heads you got could do .525 lift cause you got the same head and the same springs i got. your cam is bigger so i'd go to a straight 1.6 rocker adjustable. harland sharp or a stainless mopar set up adjustable. southeastperformance can set you up with HS rockers at a fair price 350 iirc.
sct? try in the search function, list hemifever and fallow the lead. there should be all the info youll need to contact him. my sct is a 9550

OK I'll call comp and ask what lifters I should use, For the rocker arms i was talking to buddy at work today none of them could shoot a straight answer, So I'll ask you. Whats the difference between all them to make the price jump up and down, all I notice is shape and color, some sit on short bars some sit on long bars, but they all do the same thing dont they, just push the spring down, what makes one more expensive then the other!.

I seen the 9550 tunner for 265 bucks but I couldnt find anywhere it said unlimited downloads so i wont have to keep paying for new tunes over and over

the long bar mount rockers are for the early LA motors. they oil differently. the lube passage is through there and oils the rockers from the inside. magnums have a hollow push rod and lube with a squirt.
notice the hughes 1555 rocker. each cylinder has a pair of rockers on a mini shaft. its so strong that way. no guide plates needed for the push rods. the rockers cannot spin and become miss-aligned. standard harlem sharp are pedistal mount and individual like the stockers. ask "southeast" if his HS rockers have the pairing shaft between the rockers. HS does have a paired rocker just like hughes' design. make sure you dont need guide plates, or if you do get them when you order the valve train.
in the least i hope to help you make the decisions but after all its you motor. maybe its stainless steel mopar rockers you want. but magnum valve trains are expensive!- just about anywhere you go. have you ever talked to people at "hipotek"?
