Any suggestions for painting the fiberglass/plastic? in the middle of a mid- 70's W100?
My 73 had a this metal piece, as I remember? This 74, which I got about 2 months ago, has a later model in there. They look ok, want to make them better. Pretty sure they're molded fiberglass. suggestions for prep and right type paint? As always, thanks SinD

I just cleaned and used semi-gloss enamel from Lowes. Looked fine for years.

if you're talking about door panels they are plastic. plastic paint or dye works ok.

Be sure to wash them down really good with soapy water
I like dawn maybe cause that's all we had in the kitchen my process is to wash the parts down a few times so be sure all grit/grime is off let dry for a while then spray LIGHT coats of Rustoleum paint for plastic on this paint liked to run so that's why I stress light coats I bought this paint at like 3 diff places Autozone Home Depot And some other place I needed to pick up a can while I was there I was actually surprised at how well the interior came out. Looks brand new!
