Superchips customer service

I had some warranty work done on my truck last month and when I got it back they had flashed the computer. This gave me a new Calibration ID. When I tried to reinstall my superchips I received a message saying it needed to be updated and have the Cal ID sent to superchips. I contacted customer service and have been waiting over 3 weeks to get the tune completed. Is this normal for their service? I felt like it should have been done in a few days. Im starting to get annoyed.

We have some SC folks here on DT and I'm sure they'll help. Most of the time, you have to send the tuner in to have this corrected.

Sounds like normal service when SC has issues, they tend to forget all about you when it's not an easy fix, so don't miss those days.

I had a problem with my superchips from my '05. Had to send it in. Took over 3 weeks to get it back after they received it.

I have had both good luck (issue fixed in a couple of days) and bad luck (a couple of months) when dealing with SC.

Send me a PM with your tuner serial. I'll shoot it over to the customer service manager for review.
There are times a calibration build can take time. They bench test it to make sure all functions properly. Remember they are building something new and sometimes that can take time. They certainly don't want to give you something that will ruin your truck. Superchips is conservative this way for good reason. Sorry you had to wait, but it's for the best.

Nope, just a great resource for us with testing applications and advocating our products. His passion is is based solely on how he feels about the product and seeing his contributions come to light.

Any word on when the updated tune might be available? I had my truck in for some warranty work earlier today, and they updated the PCM. I updated the tuner, but it isn't working with the truck now.

The new PCM update sounds like a bad one, I think they are locking the 09-10 rams like the 11-12 rams, there is a guy with a diablo tuner that encountered te same problem
