I have a 1966 Dodge sweptline 3/4 ton factory original. It has a 318 motor in it and I have misplaced my engine oil dipstick. I am looking for a replacement. I need to know what the length of the dipstick is measured from the tip to the collar stop near the handle where it sits in the tube guide. My tube guide is 8inches long and is on the passenger side front of the block located within the alternator bracket. Any info will be a big help!

Looking at an A-100 van with the same set-up the dipstick is 16-7/8" from the full line to the boss that seats at the top of the tube. The tube is 9-3/4" from the top to the boss on the timing cover that it goes into.
