Just wanted to post up some pics of our Rivet(Pocket) Flares

These are some pics we have of our Rivet Flares installed on a Ram. I installed these flares my self and I do have to say they install rather easily and fit really nice. Another nice thing about these is that you dont have to drill out the wholes for the stainless bolts that go around the flare. Ours are pre drilled. Which can save you an easy hour of install time. Also our pocket dress up screws are made of 304 stainless and also come with a nylon inserted nut. Bushwackers Pocket flares do not come with the flare pockets predrilled and the pockets screws only come with a regular nut that can come loose.

Those are some darn good looking flares! I love the pocket flare look. I wish there was something like that for 3rd gen Dakotas (nudge nudge hint hint).

Haha there has been some talk about making flares for the dakotas. Im sure if it is going to happen it will be after we finish getting the new body style truck finished. So mid to end of next year.

We have been talking about what mid size/small truck would be the best seller for flares. I have been telling the guys I really think its the dokota's. You guys are proving me right. At the moment we get no calls for S10 or Rangers.

This guy just ripped me off too. I highly recommend that you don't do business with him. I own a web site, and we sell all kinds of vehicle programmers. This guy bought a brand new Superchips programmer from me in January. I had Superchips send it straight to him, and they recorded the serial number before they sent it to him. A few days later he contacted me to say he got the wrong programmer, and he was going to return it for his money back. When I got it back, it was some super old tuner that was probably 4 or 5 years old. I contacted Superchips to ask them what the heck they were doing. They assured me that they had sent the right one, and even documented the serial number. They were very suspicious when I told them what happened, and put a lock on that tuner so that if it were ever updated, they tuner would be shut down.

Well just last week, the poor guy that bought it off of this forum tried to update it, and the tuner was disabled. It turns out that the guy that bought it had purchased it off of this forum. Good old go2cdmb had claimed he just sold his truck, and was wanting to sell it. Funny, he was now selling the same programmer that he said he didn't get. Worse yet, I see a previous post from him indicating that he buys old Superchips programmers, regardless of their condition. It looks like he took my good one, and sent me back one of the old ones. Nice move. It worked, since I refunded him his $299 he spent on it. My wife and I run this business on the side to help pay the bills. That $299 really hurts... especially in this economy. So now I am out $299, and the guy that bought the real one from him off this forum is out $225 since Superchips has now locked his programmer. Superchips is a really good company, and I am guessing that they will take care of him once I let them know what is going on, but needless to say I would be very careful buying from this guy.

well.........the post you are referencing is from Oct 2009. He probably bought them already, or has moved on. I am pretty sure he mentioned that he sold his truck too.

Just a thought, but there are probably better places to post that than in a vendor's thread (especially when your first line it "This guy just ripped me off").

While I'm here, any word on that style of flare for the Dakota?

Thought I would throw up some more pictures of prestige pocket flares! I wish I would have been a member here before I got them

And to attest to the quality, the truck was side swiped with a mirror, only managed to snag the flares, went right through the bedliner but didnt even scratch/gouge the flare
