Looking for best programmer for '04 4.7 Dakota

I recently purchased an '04 4.7 Dakota and looking to add some horsepower..Had a '98 318 and the '04 is not even remotely in the same class on power. Ordered a K&N cold air intake and Flowmaster, haven't installed either yet. Looking for the BEST ALL-AROUND programmer available. I have read about SuperChips and a little about Diablo and nobody seems impressed with either. It seems superchips have "shifting" issues and Hypertech doesn't make one for '04 4.7 for some reason. Am ready to order if I can get a few opinions, please. I am not really a gear head and don't understand half of the abbreviations and motor jargon that most guys use. I just want facts and don't want to stray off of the issue of a 2004 4.7 4wd quad cab Dodge Dakota. Thanks!!!!

I'd say get in contact with Hemi-fever, and do some research on the SCT tuners.
Definitely a lot more capability out there with the SCT.

I couldn't find anything from them on the SCT website earlier. I found the SCT for many models but not an 04 4.7..maybe I am wrong. I will look again in the morning..Have any idea on cost?

i have the superchips 3715? and it seems to work great on my truck.....99 5.2 5 speed

I have the superchips programmer on my 2001 Dakota quad cab 4.7L and it works like a dream for me. Kinda cashy but I'd say go for that.
