In the real world many places will try and rip you off thinking because you own a Viper that you will enjoy paying $500 for an oil change even when you supply the oil and filter. They also checked the brakes, too. That happened to me once - I never went back. A Viper oil change is easy to do and so is checking the brakes. This overcharging is called the "Viper Tax" and is a big factor on why Viper is Number 1 on the Worst List.
There are honest competent places out there that won't try to rip you off because you have a Viper. The trick is to find them. Good luck!
