After the stock BFG A/T’s run out of life I’m actually looking real hard at the Toyo Open Country A/T II. It looks like one of the better tires for my use. I’m hoping to see some reviews between now and then on how folks like the new A/T.

I haven't had my Toyo A/T II's offroad enough to give an honest review on that, but they do great on the road and are pretty quiet considering how aggressive they are.

My KM2's are done, which sucks. My fronts are pretty much done for my rears are right near 50%, so it looks like new rubber the whole way around... I've liked my KM2's but holy crap not even 20k on them. I am in a snowier climate now and not sure which way I want to go, I liked them for off road but she see's the highways too. hmph

Saw a brand new set of the DC mud country's on a Rubicon today. I'm sold! Man they really look like a good beefy tire. Can't wait till my Baja ATZ's start to wear out. They are holding tough though. Almost 25k and still 1/2 the tread left. One of the best AT's IMO

I guess I can't get too mad then at the KM2's... the rears are at a little better than 50% but the fronts are cupping like mad... these MOPAR steering/suspension issues suck!

Just about any tire will cup on any solid front axle truck if you don't rotate them. ferbs and cheby's will cup tires too. So you are not alone.

Anyone have any experience with these Kumho Road Venture MT's? Price is right. Also. They look like they are directional = issues with rotating?

I had these and they were the worst mud tire I've ever bought in my 28 years of driving. They squirmed, they cupped, they wore, they hydroplaned. I was pulling an empty 21ft travel trailer at about 50mph, even throttle on wet pavement (not standing water) when they unexpectedly broke loose. I took up 2 lanes of Interstate 10 trying to keep the rig from jack-knifing. By shear luck/skill/grace of God my family did not perish that day.

I sold them with about 1/2 the tread left and wrote my first ever review on Discount Tires website.

Hope you didn't get them.

I've heard good thinks about the Mickey tires up until the owner a) goes off road with them or b) drives more than 5000 on them. lol

As for me I decided on another set of KM2s In 37" and a mild test lift.

Comparing the two, what's wrong with the Toyos?

Are the STTs E-rated?

Side walls are too stiff. Poor ride. The Cooper's are cheaper and easier for me to get. The 35" Cooper's are now E rated at 3195 lbs. The 35" Toyo's are E rated at 3640 lbs.
