Lowering a 96 Ram

I have a 96 ram. I have lowered the rear of the truck a total of 6" two inches with shackles and 4" with springs. I now need to lower the front end 4" to keep the truck level. the problem is there is only 2" of clearance for me to lower the front end. I have already purchased a 2" lower control arm kit. I have 305/50/20 rims and tires all the way around. Would going with a smaller rim like an 18" in th front look fine with 20" rims in the back? or should I try and go with a lower profile tire in the front, maybe a 275/50/20?
Any suggestions would be a help.

I know this thread is 3 years old but Belltech has a 2" drop spindle kit also, which in my opinion is one of the best methods as you keep stock suspension geometry and travel. Then Air Tech has an air bag kit for the front end which improves ride comfort.
