I've heard the dental floss works well, to cut the adhesive...
Then use a good cleaner wax, or better yet Meguire's Ultimate Compound (don't use ANYTHING else...) and that should blend everything right in. ![]()

That I have lots of and the way braided line cuts flesh I bet it will do the job. The minute CopperMtGuy said floss my mined went to piano wire for windshileds and fishing line as well. thanks guys it just takes a kick to get the mind of a 4x going.

cheap fishing line then eraser wheel then wax. I took emblems of a wrecked truck in about 30 seconds pretty easy with the fishing line.

Step 1 is to be sure the adhesive is warm. The hotter it is the easier it will be to floss through. Next step is to floss it off, I used dental floss. After it's removed just use some Goo Gone to clean up the mess. If your removing the Dodge Emblem Badge, it has 2 pieces that actually stick out and go into the car. Floss around them as best you can then pry off carefully. May want to use heat gun as your prying.

I used some 30lb test braided fishing line and like a dope it started cutting into me. I sprayed the badge with some WD-40 and wrapped the fishing line around some dowels and within 6 saws the braided fishing line had cut the badge right off. WD-40 finsihed up any leftover adhesive and there is not a mark on the paint. Thanks everyone.

I use a nice summer day, and an old credit card to lift an edge.. then I use my finger to pull it off slowly.. then goo-gone to get rid of the extra residue, then wash it.
If you're using a heat gun be very carefull as it can cause your paint to bubble and what not.. a hair drier might be a better idea...

My ride is de-badged and de-trimmed, all I ever used was WD-40, plastic puttty knife, rags, and some elbow grease. WD-40 eats adhesive and doesn't mess with the paint.
