well i did it now, as i posted before my fuel pump was not running.. checked the relay and it seemed to be good. tried to jump from the power wire into the relay across to the wire that should go to the pump and nothing happened. then i tried to jump from the power sorce to all three wires that go out the relay at the same time.. nothing happened, and now my power wire into the relay has no power, i traced the wire. it runs into the computer, i have no power from that one wire for the fuel pump comming outa the computer. everything else apears to still work. it aint shooting any new codes.

what i was wondering is if i mite have smoked the computer now.. if everything else still works why cant i just run a new power wire to the fuel pump and into a keyed circut that way when i turn the key on the pump kicks on like before.. or does it need to be ran thru the whole system.

am at my end, if i cant get it to work i am gonna swap to a carb or maybe something more drastic..

The power wire from the computer to kick on the pump will only have power when you first turn ignition on and when engine is running.
Do you have a meter?

Yes it could be the asd relay,it should kick when turning on the ignition, check for power in the red wire,if no power, open wire,if power then relay, again try a jumper only to the opposite wire(should be black).

ok, i got power at the red wire into the relay now, but no power at the blue wire coming outa the computer.. if i jump power from the battery to that blue wire it starts but overheats the power wire within a few secounds.. so i asume the blue wire from the compter should have power but it should be steped down in volts..

like i siad it has no power at that wire at all, i traced it all the way to the computer but it isnt burnt. do ya think i smoked something in the computer, or maybe there is another wire, on that should suplie power into the computer before it is deverted over to that relay... if so that could be bad.

I think you will have to strip off your wiring covering and check all fusable links.

ya i should mentioned i checked them, they all were good eccept one, wich i removed. that was most likly my origional problem, but when i was jumping wire across the relay to see why if the fuel pump would kick on, i decided i should jump from the power wire, at that time the wire coming from the computer was the only one with power, to the other three wires all at once.. since then my computer wire has had no power. if i run power from the battery to the wire that comes outa the computer it starts and runs but within a few minutes the wires coming out of the relay overheat and i burned one off as a result, i fixed that now but still cant figure why i have no power coming outa the computer...

You never can be too sure.
you can check the dark blue/yellow wire at the diagnostic connector for power(6 pin connector near the bulkhead).

I know all too well how you feel.
Sometimes it does help to take a break and walk away for a while(I know easier said than done too).
